From American Family Voices - Miriam V.

Who Says That? (Part 1)

Q: Is it your intention, if anybody in your administration is indicted [in
the Plame leak scandal], to remove that person from your administration?

PRES. BUSH: I am mindful of the investigation. I'll remind you what I said
last time I was asked about this; I'm not going to talk about it until the
investigation
is complete. And it's important that the investigation run its course.

Q: If you won't talk about it, sir -

PRES. BUSH: I think - let's just let - let the process run its course.

Who Says That? (Part 2)

Q: Given - given recent developments in the CIA leak case, particularly Vice
President Cheney's discussions with the investigators, do you still stand by
what you said several months ago, a suggestion that it might be difficult to
identify anybody who leaked the agent's name?

PRES. BUSH: That's up to -

Q: And, and, do you stand by your pledge to fire anyone found to have done
so?

PRES. BUSH: Yes. And that's up to the U.S. Attorney to find the facts.

leaked Valerie Plame's name, he'll soon be promising to promote whoever did
