We've just learned that House Majority Leader John Boehner
(R-OH) has privately told Republican colleagues he will allow a
"lengthy debate" on America's Iraq war policy. According to
Congressman Wayne Gilchrest (R-MD), the announcement "caused a
hush to fall over the audience." [1]

pushing Congress for this debate for months. After three years
of silence, it's about time our representatives start
considering alternatives to "staying the course" in Iraq.
